Hey everyone, for the past year I’ve been directing this movie called “Role Models” which will come out on November 14th! The first trailer debuts today on MTV.com

    I just saw the trailer for Disaster Movie (by the same folks who brought us Scary, Superhero, etc. Movies), so this is the *second* best trailer I’ve seen all day. You’ve got some stiff spoof-based competition.

    i’ve been waiting for this trailer all summer, and can honestly say that it looks very promising! you discussed a few of the differences between independent and studio work on the ten dvd commentary, and i’m really anxious to see the results. you’re a talented director, and expectations are high!

  7. Just saw it before the 3:30 showing of Pineapple Express at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin Texas. Everyone there loved the scenes with the little black kid. I hope he is as funny as the trailer makes him out to be. He will be a star!

  8. The trailer looks great! Really digging the casting. I always liked Sean William Scott and you can’t go wrong with Rudd. Can’t wait to see it!

  9. to be honest the trailer didn’t impress me that much (as most mainstream comedy film trailers fail to do so, they’re always cheesy and have the worst jokes) but that’s not gonna stop me from seeing this movie. the little black kid has the best lines in it, and i absolutely love paul rudd no matter what he’s doing. i hope the film does well

  10. Hopefully you had enough money in the budget to get rights to a bitchin’ ’80′s metal song for the ending montage…

  11. Love how the characters look from the trailer’s intro. Looks like it has great potential, as i’m rarely disappointed by the featured actors. Hope that distinctive absurdist touch is preserved even if you aren’t behind the script. Seann William Scott certainly is typecast to that Stiffler role, isn’t he? I’m looking forward to the 14th of November.

  12. I’m not too impressed with the trailer, but knowing you directed it, and with all the awesome Stella-related actors that are in it, its a must see. See you on the 14th!
