Hot night in California

A few random thoughts:
1) It’s really hot and I need air conditioning which I do not currently have. This sucks and when I pick up my hands off the lap top there are two sweat puddles on it. That’s gross.
2) I’ve recently started playing ROCK BAND after an 18 year hiatus from all video games (true, not a joke). I love it. I really love it. And soon they’re releasing the entire Cars first album for download. Oh yes. I can rock most songs pretty good on guitar, on “hard.” Yep, “hard.” Hard hard hard.
3) I answered five questions on the Forces of Good website.
4) I wrote a letter to my teenage self in this month’s JVibe magazine (click on p. 28-29, then that little “X” to enlarge it.)
5) I know there are more important things in life but WAINY DAYS is running 3rd in the Webby Awards voting - come on people - you have to ORGANIZE. If we lose, the terrorists win. Click here to vote.
6) I’ve been listening to comedy albums for the first time since my early days of memorizing those by Steve Martin, Albert Brooks, Eddy Murphy and Woody Allen. I highly recommend those by David Cross and Patton Oswalt and of course my friends Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black.

Have you read The Pleasure of My Company by S. Martin? The detail in it has me pretty certain he’s got OCD.
