  1. this felt like when you sit next to some crazy on the bus and he tells you some crazay story and you can’t believe it and you can’t wait to tell your friends when you get off the bus, but then you realize that your stop isn’t for like 20 minutes and the crazy isn’t going anywhere, just hangin’ on the bus.

  2. Letterman ALWAYS has the craziest, most awkward interviews! I’ve never seen anything like them. His interview with Marilyn Manson a number of years back was almost unbearable, it was so awkward. Great stuff, David. Thanks for sharing.

  3. The funny/ironic thing is that Letterman got his start as a writer for Jimmy Walker. Seriously. Letterman used to joke about it on the show: “Who better to write about the black experience than a white kid from Indiana.”

  4. Hilarious, I actually love the fact that David Letterman seems to have no idea what to say. He is totally, “…”. And Mr. Walker totally called himself on his Scatman looks.

  5. yeah it was sad not seeing you there in cleveland, david. but i understand. meeting the michael’s was pretty cool though. they seemed nice although they were very tired ofcourse. i only hope i could meet you one day cuz you’re super cool.
