Here’s a silly, but very new thing from all of us in The State

Guys I was feeling a little high on myself this week, so I did what I do every time I need a little humility – pull out my trusty tape of Ebert and Roeper

It’s been a long road but finally we’ve gotten THE STATE, first season at least, on iTunes, ready for downloading starting next tuesday!

We all met in 1988 at New York University, totally partied there. Rocked it out, actually. Then when college was over, we made these little skits for “You Wrote It You Watch It” on MTV, hosted by Jon Stewart (who sadly still hosting a cable show). Then in 1992 we made a pilot for our own sketch comedy show, and from 1993-95 we did a whole bunch of episodes of it. After that we did a special on CBS, tried to make a movie, published a book, made a record that never came out… Then we all kept working together in different configurations (Reno/Wet Hot/Stella/Sex etc). What a country Mexico is. Filled, and I mean FILLED, with Mexicans and Mexican food. And I don’t just mean the tacos you can get at Taco Bell. They have burritos there too. One day I went horseback riding for the first time

and it was really fun but then when the horse started galloping kind of fast it was going bumpy bumpy on my cojones and my butty and should have worn more padding or something because it kind of hurt. Then when I was about 20 feet from an oncoming muddy puddle, I could feel my sunglasses and my hat loosening. But there was no way I was gonna take my hands of the reins or that little thing you hold on to it with, so I just had to let the hat and glasses fly, and the poor dude who was leading us around had to get off and wade through the mud looking for my stupid sunglasses.
What a jerk I must be! I would have helped but he knew I wouldn’t be able to figure out how to get back on the horse. In any case here’s a new interview I did for Suicide Girls
